I have started developing a cybercafe billing software which will be far
more advanced than MOL cybercafe but the investment here is US$6700. I can
bear the cost and give it free because it will give a brand awareness
globally for which i may need to put in 10 times the amount or even higher
and fill the magazine owners pockets and still not get the audience.
Most cybercafe's cannot afford US$400 of software (one person has written a
book on starting a cybercafe and is selling it for US$125.) It's beyond the
means of any average cybercafe owner in India who is trying to make ends
meet forget about reaping huge profits.
The market is too large for free as well as paid software. The important
factor is these MLM & similar service have made a mess in the market place.
They are too loud and irritating with many a times unrealistic claims.
Instead of members if this mailing list trying to lure others in an MLM
[every cybercafe owner knows MOL Cybercafe software, we don't need BigBytes
Internet Cafe to tell us about it]. Let the cybercafe owners themselves
decide when they want to go for such a service instead of hammering the
info on the mailing list.
