un thread sur ce sujet sur Macfixit:
"Word X crashing frequently is a well documented issue here on the MacFixit
Forums and elsewhere. I recommend searching the forums for "Word X and
fonts". The brief answer is that you have a single corrupted font (or more)
located either in your OS 9 fonts folder or in one of the locations that OS
X keeps its fonts (~Library/Fonts ~User/Library/Fonts etc.) The normal
tedious process of troubleshooting fonts is necessary here to eliminate the
corruption. The reason Word selectively crashes due to the presence of the
font instead of Excel or PowerPoint is that Word loads and examines all
fonts when you launch it and the other applications are not as naturally
font dependent."
Donc, en gros, Word n'aime pas qu'on touche aux fontes en OSX - ou qu'elles
soient corrompues.
