Originally Met area 5 were allowing people to keep 7.3 ammo at
home, quite reasonable as the pistols could be locked up many
miles away. However my F.A.C was recalled amongst many others
and amended so that I now have to reload on the range.
This occurred apparently because 7.3 shooters in other areas were
complaining that the Met area5 people weren't restricted. The Met
stepped into line instead of the others easing up!.

I cannot fathom the logic of this. Surely it is more secure
to have the ammo in one place and the guns in another rather
than both together? And what happens if you have a 9mm rifle
with 9mm ammo and also a 9mm pistol under Section 7(3)?

Steve.
