3,000 tons of lead? thats more than 107.5 million cartridges
at 1oz load! And only until the end of the year. It's also
more than 200 shots per kill at these figures.
Are these reasonable estimates? There will be some bruised
shoulders somewhere.

I thought it was a pretty dubious statistic too, but I don't
know enough about field shooting to comment.
