Campbell said: "I had been to get a takeaway and was walking home when I heard the youths on the bridge. "Yesterday I had been to cover the funeral of a little girl who died after being electrocuted on railway lines last week, so with the words of the priest ringing in my ears I decided to say something to them. "I told them it was dangerous to play up there and asked them to get off, but they ignored me. "When I walked away I was shot.
