Which accounts for the wedge between the police and
the shooters, we all have anecdotes of when we were
forced to become victims of state tyranny. My own
experience of the police involvement with this evil
event come from the apparent joy these blokes gained
from being able to deprive innocent citizens of their
lawfully owned property. Sorry, IG ,but some of these
bastards were extremely insensitive to the feelings of
the innocent shooters. They were visibly dissapointed
when I told them that they could f*** off when they
thought that they were going to get their hands on
my "Pan cake" holster that I had personally hand
stamped each section of the "basket weave" decoration
to coincide with the basket weave decoration that I
had stamped on my 2" belt. This was a combination of
my hobby of working with leather and handgun shooting,
I had copied a "Pancake holster" courtesy of Jonathan
Laws, (the template being drawn on a target from an
original that Jonathan had brought to the club, happier
days!) If I say so myself, it was a nice piece of
kit. Regardless of what the home office offered me for
the surrender of this holster they could go f***
themselves , it is not for sale. It is still in my
workshop awaiting the time that the ECOHR demand that
our property be restored to us and I can once again
slide my 1911 series 70 back into it.

I have to say my local police were extremely sympathetic
when I handed my stuff in, which was a first. I found
out later that one of the members of the same club as
I am a member of had broken down in tears the previous
weekend in the police HQ so that might have had some
bearing on it.

I suppose IG could simply say that we could have all
refused to hand out stuff in, so we are as much to
blame as anyone, but we could have used some help.

Steve.
