Rover's current advertising (radio) camapaign is using
the theme that in order to offer low prices they can't
spend much on the commercials. In this vein they have
used Peter Bowden as our best hope in the trap shooting
events (presumably cheaper than Beckham for example),
Angus Deayton's brother and so on.

Obviously this is just a creative device and does not
constitute sponsorship of shooting, although it is
encouraging that Rover and it's ad agency do not
consider (at least trap) shooting to be negative to
their product.
