From: "davidsquires", [EMAIL PROTECTED] I think the human propensity for persecution of those seen as different is still alive and well. The same propensity has been exploited variously throughout history in episodes such as the witch hunt in this country in the 17th Century, the Nazi persecution of the Jews and so on. It is something intelligent and humane people have been fighting for centuries. Bills of Rights are examples of this struggle which is still going on. Cheers David -- I just think this country is the leading example of socialisation via TV, I've actually heard BBC officials say that TV makes the country more "homogenous" a polite way of saying they want to brainwash everyone into thinking the same way. It's much easier in such an urbanised environment. Steve.
