While not many footballers are as well paid as Mr Beckham, the game is still played everywhere. I consider golf to be slightly less exciting than lawn bowling, or as Mark Twain said "A good walk spoiled". However, because of the money involved, golfers are as prolific as rabbits, and few oppose the opening of a new course.
