So as not to re-invent the wheel, perhaps US
contributors could tell us the formats of US televised
shooting competitions?
Has anyone any experience of asking the BBC or other
TV companies about this?
Has anyone any experience of asking British shooting
associations about this?

On ESPN it is pretty straightforward, bit like coverage
of tennis or any other sport. They show people shooting
at targets, tell you the score etc. On the one event
I saw they had mounted a small camera on Rob Leatham
so it looked like you were seeing through his eyes
as he mowed down the steel plates.
