GUNMAN LAWFULLY KILLED, does not make any sense?

A former soldier who was shot dead by police after repeatedly aiming an air
rifle at officers was lawfully
killed, just does not ring true to me. If you were just simply Joe Public
out with your faithful old Diana .177 and suddenly a load of armed Police
jumped out of the bushes shouting and screaming at you while pointing a gun
at your head, you would panic and freeze, your gun would no doubt go every
where. Then we have a trained soldier out with his air rifle, confronted by
armed men shouting at him, but instead of remaining cool and calm as a
trained soldier would, accessing the situation, he for some obscure reason
points his old air rifle at armed Police, why? What would he have to gain,
it's a no win situation, no soldier would do it, unless he had some sort of
death wish. It's true what you say point a weapon at armed police and you
will be shot, an inquest heard that Mr Kitts also aimed the gun at two
marksmen even after they shouted several times: "Armed police, put your
weapon down. Antony Kitts must have been one of three things, slightly
blind, slightly deaf, or suicidal.

As for having a go at Police, why not, what have they got to hide. They are
a law unto themselves, they police themselves, they answer only to
themselves, now they want to be a secret army. To be able to shoot someone
then hide, what are they the SS. I have no time for the Police, I tried to
hire a lawyer once for an appeal, he would not do it as he said that the
Police where I live were incapable of telling they truth, they were
dangerous to mess with. He was correct, I had upset them, I was confronted
by two detectives one day, taken to a Police station that they were not
from, and told if I did not toe the line things would happen. I was told
that I had to meet one of them in a dark building and come alone or else. I
was one step ahead, I had contacted a good lawyer who informed the Chief
constable of what was going on, I confronted the detective with a witness
and he was exposed. I had to go and see his inspector and was wired for the
occasion, I was persuaded to drop the charge as they would deal with it,
leave it to us he said. I have reported this case to my MSP and await her
reply. I do not trust them, Hungerford and Dunblane proves my point.

There was a bit in the my local paper the other day that the two policewomen
who comforted the bereaved at the shooting in Dunblane would go ahead with
suing the authorities, this would be why a spokesman for the court where
armed men freed the two criminals last week said, the court officials would
be given every help possible to overcome this trauma, does not want to be
taken to the cleaners more like.

To end on a more fun note, fed up with the system, then download this
http://www.gemtree.com/download/desktop.exe it has a machine gun that
expels shells all over your desktop, so try some target practice on you
wallpaper.

He was lawfully killed, and yes he did appear to have a deathwish.
It appeared to be "suicide by cop" to me. I can't think of any
other reasonable explanation why in the middle of the night you
would be walking around with a loaded air rifle and point it at
a police officer when challenged.

Steve.
