I have recently been sending all my export firearms to
the States via Continental and have not been informed by
them that they have changed their policy They have been
one of the few airlines that would accept unaccompanied
firearms.
I had a call today from a travel agent who had been
informed that his client could not travel on BA flight
to LHR & transfer to Gatwick despite having a Visitor's
Permit. I faxed through a letter explaing that the man
was fully authorised to transite LHR & Gatwick with his
firearm. This was accepted by the airline.
