I heard a brief description of the bullets used by the
Israelis against the Palestinan stone throwers. To me it
sounds likely that the addition of a small amount of rubber
could have no practicle purpose and it seems likely
that the rubber is only included to allow sympathetic media
to refer to the projectiles as "rubber bullets". Has anyone
on this list seen these bullets or know the specs?

They appear to be single-loaded baton rounds of some
description looking at the TV coverage.
