Such is the level of ignorance and hysteria about firearms in the UK these days that anyone equipped with a walking stick with a fired 12 bore cartridge on the end of it might find themselves surrounded by the kevlar cowboys and facing a charge of possessing a banned firearm (walking stick gun) or worse shot dead like poor old Harry Stanley.
