In what the news were calling the "bullet blunder" nottinghamshire
police have lost a magazine full of 9 mm ammo from a walther pistol out
of an arv; and they want it back! Please. If it wouldn't be too much
trouble.
This is the police force that put armed officers on patrol in response
to a drug war (unclear why, it was us public being shot at not the
police) and who, in 1996 lost five revolvers out of the side door of a
transit van.

Is it really that big a deal? Who would want a magazine full of
worthless 9mm JSP anyway?!
