This is probably "old news" so I have no idea why I used the device of a
capital letter headline. But I've got your attention!
Last night, Tuesday 6th February, on SKY TV News Channel 501 I watched the
"CBS Eye on America" programme. It is on at some late hour!
It had a feature on the Remington 700 apparently firing when the safety
catch is released. Tragically a child had been shot dead by a parent who had
released the safety catch on a loaded Remington 700 and it had fired.
Killing the child.
It is harsh to state that if it had been pointed in a safe direction that
said accident would never have occurred.
Nevertheless the "CBS Eye on America" programme are doing a follow-up to
Tuesday's programme tonight, Wednesday on their SKY TV News Channel 501
programme.
