Just seen the advert for "London's Burning" on ITV, which
features 2 men shooting twice with a revolver at a door
lock, & then in the next scene, a grenade rolling on the
floor with the footage cut to insinuate that the grenade
(with the pin in!) has been thrown at the fire-fighters,
who are scared, then there is an sparkling explosion in a
door way as 2 firemen jump out of the way/caught in the blast.
AND THEY HAVE THE GALL TO SAY WE HAVE A "GUN CULTURE" IN
DEROGATORY TERMS - THEY'VE CREATED IT!!!
For how many years now has The Bill, Silent Witness, Fitz &
all these other similar programs pushed "Gun Crime" as a
way to "Sell" their program to the viewers (Not to mention
"Eastenders" fascination with prohibited weapons & violence)
My favourite point of this week is all the footage of the
"Eminem" records & concerts, the album & singles all carry
"Parental advisory, explicit lyric stickers"
and as such are by law not allowed to be sold to under 16's
& under 16's are supposed not to be allowed into the concerts
either.
So, what are under 16's doing queuing up outside? who bought
them tickets & who bought them the albums, because the record
stores are not allowed to sell them??
Could it be the parents/family who are now complaining that
this Eminem person's music & message are not suitable, are
the ones who bought the album, singles & concert tickets for
their under 16's.
The funniest thing about it was a 6 year old fan who was
interviewed on ITV last night whose mum is compaining to have
these records "Banned" (so much for free speech!). Guess
where he got the records...From His Mum! - yes the ones with
the parental advisory on the front & the signs at the till
that say "Not for sale to under 16s"
But oh no it couldn't be the parents.....It's the singer!
Just like the attitude towards "Rock & Roll" in the 1950's -
"the Devil's music"
"Hippie Music" in the 1960's "Metal" in the 1970's "Hip Hop"
in the 1980's, "Gangster Rap" in the 1990's
These are the same irresponsible screaming harlots who
campaign on every fashionable "Ban it" wagon
The same ones who campaigned against us!
Obviously these people are against Freedom Of Choice, Freedom
Of Speech & Freedom in general. as Mr Totty's sig says: "I

So it seems that our battle for our freedoms is part of a
much wider attack on the Freedom of the individual in general
& I expect it goes back longer than the last 50 years.
