This link appeared in a recent posting on this mailing list. It documents an
interview with Viscount Cranborne. I believe everyone should read it, but
more importantly, everyone should register on the YouGov site (anon if you
prefer) and participate in the on line vote at the foot of the item (there
are also a number of other 'issues' covered, including foxhunting). I have
no idea how effective this course of action might be, however, the line-up
of personnel involved in producing the site seems impressive and there is a
claim that the results of all 'votes' will be passed on to 'our esteemed
parliamentary representatives', with follow-up analysis. The current state
of voting on the 'handgun ban' issue, is, if I am honest, not surprising.
It's all free so go take a look and register your vote.
