Phone helps save shooting victim

A hunter who accidentally shot himself successfully guided
paramedics to his position using a mobile phone.

Kevin Burness, 35, from Forfar, Scotland, was injured when
the gun went off as he fell into a ditch.

He had been on a lone pheasant shoot in Tayside, Scotland,
and lost several pints of blood during the crisis, reports
The Times.

He spent 20 minutes guiding an ambulance crew to his
whereabouts and was ordered over the phone to stem the
blood with a scarf he was carrying.
