I am intrigued to hear about your black ribbon - but that will hardly get
noticed, and there are just too many fashionable issues for which people
wear ribbons. That will hardly raise eyebrows, let alone a media
outcry. But that is exactly what you would get if we all started to
wear a large, conspicuous 'yellow star', particularly because of the
political, historical and ethnic connotations. A star on the
original Nazi model for Jews (size of the palm of a hand) couldn't be
ignored, some interest groups would be outraged, there would probably be
interviews with people wearing them and other denouncing them - an
excellent occasion to say exactly how we feel.

Who else would wear one? Who would be able to produce them on a large
enough scale?

I think the rubber stamp idea Rusty found is better, it would get
out to more people. Simple to do as well.

Steve.
