If the judge is Bill Stewart, he may let you out of it as he rides.

If he isn't presiding, another response I've heard used before and it
worked was, "if he was arrested he is guilty of something". A little
different than the response below as it doesn't directly imply guilt of
the crime in the trial.

If you go in there and tell the judge you think they are guilty
and you are sticking to your answer without hearing the trial. You will
be dismissed.

I think Nick is in Nash County!

I also have friends in Wilson County that got my duty deferred
away from my vacation so I'm not gonna complain! Too much!

Couldn't Nick get you out of that? kp

                Kinnie:

I would very much like to ride, BUT I had jury duty this
week in Wilson Co. and I'm already serving on a trial. Yippee! Resuming
tomorrow at 10:00, so I highly doubt that I could ride tomorrow. :(

I'm not sure I could've used "missing a bike ride" as an
excuse to cut jury duty so I didn't bother. The judge would not have
understood.

Anyone interested in a ride tomorrow in Red Oak?
I'm open on start times. Have to be home by 2:00pm. Kinnie
