i think we saw the COWS peloton! were ya'll riding between town creek and elm city on east langely rd? jim h. and I were cresting a hill and saw 6 or so riders a 1/2 mile away getting chased by a dog. we ended up taking a right and heading into elm city in the opposite direction.
we did end up breaking our own speed limit a few times--I got into a nasty headwind and dropped down onto my aerobars and accelerated, just wanting to get to the next turn and get it over with. I thought Jim was on my wheel but he had fallen behind a bit. I made the next turn and we joined up for a minute until the next hill...I was going to take it easy and let Jim pull me up, but he just kept going faster and faster and I couldn't maintain.
