Great day for a ride, comfortable pace, good conversation, good company
I echo James, we need to do this more often.

Subject: [COWs] July 4th Ride Report!

14 riders total left Wilson this morning for a 100k bike ride.  Jim, Nick, Doc, Steve S., David C., Chris H., Alan J., Ben, Ken, James L., Dave W., Jonathan, Susan L. and myself.  Thanks to everyone up front who kept the pace below 20mph.  Nice double pace line with plenty of conversation throughout the entire ride.  When does that ever happen?  Special congrats to my wife who rode out of town with 13 guys.  Jonathan won the free breakfast for the most patriotic rider.  His kit included a RW&B helmet, stars and stripes jersey, a red Nike swoosh on his shorts, RW&B socks and sparkling white shoes.  Chris came in second with his RW&B "United We Ride" jersey, matching helmet and his bike mounted American flag.  Chris, I owe you a beer for second place.  You can drop by the house after any future ride to collect.  Enjoy your weekend!!!

Tim
