Dan, Matt, Mike, Steve and Dave had a fun cycling on Wed night. Matt put together a loop that went out Pack House to Old Raleigh. Then, we boogied through Sims with Matt collecting the sprint at Sims. Dan claimed insider information to that small hidden dinky sprint sign. The pace was pretty accommodating with the normal, "I think I am flatting." "My chain came off." to slow the pace down. Matt collected another sprint at Nash County. Lillies Rd was the ultimate because Matt led a nice 24+ cruise that felt like a downhill romp to the Tar River. The average pace reached 21 mph, but the silly closed road returned the pace to our normal friendly cruise. We had 38 miles of fun with a 20.5 mph average. I appreciated not chasing anything down, cycling in daylight and cycling with a fun group at a reasonable pace. Mike Kinney
