Well I though I could catch Chris as I thought he would ease up after the first hill (I also believe in Sanata Clause and the Great Pumpkin). Chis did get closer at first then he turned into a small tiny dot I saw once in a while at the top of hills. Soon I coudl not see him at all. Kinnie pulls up behind me and I encourage her to go after Chris. I hoped I could hang a bit closer to Kinnie for a while but she very quickly also became a small dot on the horizon. I see no Bert and no Steve behind me. Over 301 I pull off at the Texico to wait. After a while I think i must have missed a turn so I head on to the Old Star Bucks, encountering the same Wilson drivers Kinnie did. I pull into Star Bucks and see no one. Waited 20 minutes (recovering) and then headed home.
Gald to hear everyone got back safe and sound. Chirs is an animal, he just took off like a shot out of as gun and kept going! :) ----- Original Message ----- From: Kinnie Pruden To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, October 12, 2009 1:14 PM Subject: [COWs] Monday's ride I wanted to get my side of the story in first! It was Chris not me! Apparently, I'm dumb enough that when encouraged to catch up with Chris, I think I can do it. All that got me, was lost somewhere in the middle of the gap between Chris and the others, and some unintentional Secret High Intensity Training. Actually I did catch up with Chris - when he stopped to wait. But he was going left and sent me right. Oh well. So I continued down Ward Blvd. on my own. Such nice drivers on Ward. How did the other third of the riders get along? kp --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CyclistsOfWilson-COWs" group.
