I'll look at the sites you've mentioned. Since I'm working over here in
G'ville, I'll have to do any swimming in the evening time.

.....wow: neato some interest in swimming.
You will be at an advantage b/c I can never drop you! This is good-----expand
your horizons!
.....in a bubble.
There is a group of us that swim 12-1 m-fri We post the daily workout @ the
swim/tri googlegroup site steveS set up:
http://groups.google.com/group/swimmers-and-triathletes-of-wilson?lnk=iggc
it is just like the CowS googlegroup.

jammers and goggles is really all you need to start.
ck out www.totalimmersion.net and go to youtube and search for total immersion.
Lots of clips on swimming technique. Watch and read thru some of the free
stuff and you will get an idea on the process. Will be a time saver and cut
the learning curve easily in half.

The lap swim at night is available 7-9pm m & wed nights or 5:30am - 8:30am
m-fri **most swim on their on 12-1pm m-fri **half organized workout 7-10am
sat
sat and sun 1pm-5pm depending on pool parties
generally you can get a lane at the pool parties.

Just show up m-fri at noon, introduce yourself as a biker and fall right in.
Easy to get started.

I will not be there this wed/thurs...
delivering toilet paper.
