"Turbo" Dan and I cruised out shortly after 9:00 this morning after chatting with surf dude who refused to get out of the car and join us. Not only did I have to fight those brutal winds this morning that never let up but I had to also keep up with Dan who had pie for breakfast. Geez! We cruised Stanhope to Bailey and back Old Raleigh for 38 miles. We meet a group of ten cyclist near Bailey. A snobbish little group all wearing team jerseys whom not a one returned our waves. It's funny when folks try to be so serious. Nice ride though I have nothing left for the rest of the day unless I can find those pumpkin cupcakes.
