Sam:

Come on over Saturday at 12pm for a moderately paced ride. We meet at the old
Starbucks (vacant building at 2113 Nash Street NW) on Nash Street across from
McDonalds and next to Walgreens. I too have a freshman at NCSU and can relate
to the rapid depletion of funds. We will commiserate together.

My name is Sam Gurganus and I recently joined your group. I live in
the Red Oak/Nashville area. Last summer I started back biking after
about six years of the bike hanging in the garage. I stopped riding so
I could take time to enjoy my daughter's school activities and weekend
sports. My youngest is now a freshman at NCSU and oldest a senior at
ECU. Needless to say I now have a lot more time than I have money so
biking is what I do with my extra time. Last summer and fall I did
some riding with the group in Rocky Mount and would like to join some
of your rides this year.I have been trying to get in 40 - 50 miles a
weekend so far this winter when the weather cooperates. I will keep an
eye on your site to see what is going on and possibly ride some this
weekend.
