Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly
because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we
have acted rightly.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

I have a compact, 50/34 front rings

11/24 on the back.

34/24 combo is like 37 gear inches and is equal to a 39/28 combo for

those with standard cranks.

I'm probably gonna stay with what I have, though I could change my

mind after an early June mountain ride.

Your stamina is unbelievable, Tim. What chain rings did you use on Sat and
what do you plan to ride at BSG?

But I like wind and hills. (We did a lot of bonding Saturday!)

I'm game for both rides. 9:00am, 30 miles Wed., Anytime Thursday is

fine, 50 miles, It's all good!

Super Man wouldn't have needed all those sissy gears I used Saturday.

He would have been on a single speed.

Hey, Anyone up for about 30 tomorrow morning at 9:00a.m. and about 50 on
Thursday (time?)? Tim, I imagine there is still a pulse and therefore
you'll be riding (and John), but if the distances don't work for you
(probably too short) I could meet you en route. And could we keep the
routes relatively flat this week? :) And could you keep the winds below 5
mph? (Well, you are Super Man right?) Thanks, kp
