O.K. no more "short and fast".  (Those "fast" sessions were a little longer
than I meant.)  Today, "short and very ez."  If the "bottom fell out" on Monday
you need to recover from that.  Take either tomorrow or Friday off.  On Friday
(or tomorrow) just do some strides to keep the legs moving.  Just remember, you
can't get better in the next three days (you're bed is made by now for this
race), but you can make it worse.  :)  Best of luck.  Can't wait to hear.  (I
wish I could run like that.)  kp

By suggestion from KP keep what I do this week short and fast. Did a 10.1 mile
loop Mon. in 29 min. at a 22 mph avg. Bottom fell out as I was changing into my
running shoes. Skipped the run. Later put 2 miles on the tread mill at the gym
with some workout time on the weights.

Tues. did the same loop on the bike in30 min. at 19.8 mph avg. followed by a 2
mile run in 13 min. and 58 sec.

Chris H.

P.S. that helps to break up the boredom a bit !!
