TRYSPORTS BATTLE AT BUCKHORN TRIATHLON May 22, 2010 | 8200 Rock Ridge School Road Sims, NC 27880 http://fsseries.com/index.php?action=event&event_id=45 RACE DESCRIPTION Buckhorn Lake Hwy 581 / Rock Ridge School Rd Wilson, NC 27893 Phone: 252.235.6563 Located on Rock Ridge School Road off Highway 581 on State Road 1142. (Wilkerson Crossroads). Approximately 10 miles from downtown Wilson. The swim will be a 1000 meter triangular swim in Buckhorn Lake. Buckhorn Lake is a water reservoir for the City of Wilson and surrounding area. The bike course will feature a rolling design with all right hand turns. The bike has some great areas to really crank out the rollers but it does have a couple of small rolling hills to make it challenging. The run will be a 2 lap out and back flat course. The 1st lap will turnaround at the entrance to park and head back out to the 2nd Aid station. The run course is basically flat and smooth road surface. Runners will stay on the same side of the road inside the cones PRICING INFORMATION TrySports Battle at Buckhorn Triathlon Pricing: Before 04/22/2010 Individual: $50.00 Relay: $100.00 Before 05/19/2010 Individual: $60.00 Relay: $110.00 After 05/18/2010 Individual: $70.00 Relay: $120.00 The last day to register online for the TrySports Battle at Buckhorn Triathlon is Tuesday, May 18, 2010. On-site registration may be available if this event is not full, but your best bet is to register online. A $10.00 fee (for USAT race day insurance) will be added if you are not a USAT member.
