Horne's Ch pit bull is new, was not there yesterday Did pass a female jogger where Williams rd comes in from the left a tan lab type dog came out usually he is not a problem, sprinted away leaving the jogger to deal with him. Buzzer up date, talked with the officer, he said they talked with the buzzer, explained the law and warned him. Buzzer was most humble and compliant. AJ, Vino, mtb Dan and I cruised around 30 miles up Old Carriage Rd., Bend of the River towards Rocky Mount, back 97, then around the airport, through Elm City and back Lake Wilson. Zooom, Zooom all the way. Worked on my girlish hill climbing skills. It didn't take long for AJ to get back up to speed after retirement. Much needed recovery drinks tonight.... ok where was I? Very nice temps this evening and wind wasn't a factor at all. No dogs! We did get buzzed on 97 and I nearly t-boned a car in Wilson coming home on 58 but he stopped halfway out and I was able to ride around. I thought I was history there for a second. Awesome ride!
