stardude status?

I drove to North Raleigh, McDonalds on Falls of the Neuse Rd. Met up with 6
other crazy fools. Cycled from there at 8:00am this morning headed for Black
Creek. 32 degrees and not knowing what the afternoon would bring. Just frigin
cold for the first 100 miles. Most of the crew stopped at Bojangles on Lamm
Rd. on the way back but a friend Bryan and I passed up lunch trying to outrun
the bad weather. No such luck! On the way back to Youngsville around mile 98
the big snow flakes started. More like snow balls. You knew when you were
hit. Then God threw in a little sleet, well a lot of sleet. Ouch!, had to get
the face covered. Dang, now I gotta wash the bike! For about 20 minutes it
snowed hard enough that I couldn't see Bryan who was a couple hundred feet
behind me. He didn't know the route so I slowed up to keep tabs. We then had
a 30 minute reprieve. Then it snowed again the last 7 or 8 miles. Bryan and I
finished back at McDonalds and I downed a chocolate milkshake while we waited
for the others. Just another beautiful day on the playground.
