Sounds to me like not tuning into this station is the best solution. If more people stopped listening, maybe the station will have to close for lack of listeners.

Absolutely no loss either. -----Original Message----- From: Kim Benson Sent: Saturday, January 15, 2011 10:02 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [COWs] 106.1 Rush I wrote to someone in radio, who happens to be a cyclist and this is what he had to say. "Have you called the station? Wrote to the editor of the newspaper? Write to the news desk to the TV stations? he wants you to do just that. In all honesty this guy is stirring up controversy to gain more listeners. The style of radio he is doing is to get people angry to develop action and get press. Negative press in some cases is great press for his show and station. It will get people curious about what he is talking about. Then cyclists like you and me will write on our Facebook walls, twitter, call TV stations, paper etc..... If this person can get people saying his name and station then it is free advertising. Radio is in the middle of a ratings book right now. So, this guy is doing what he can to gain name recognition and people tuning in. People will just to hear what he is saying. The more people who tune in then the ratings go up and their sales people can sell their commercials at a higher praise and the more money the station makes. Plus, talk may influence a few people but not the majority of folks. He stirred cyclists up but he hasn't influenced people to kill us. It goes against human nature and they risk jail and losing their own life. " On 1/15/11 7:20 AM, "Kim Benson" <[email protected]> wrote: > [email protected] > This is KC零 email.
