Hahaha! Wish we could all have a bike for every day of the week! From what I've seen of those bikes they can handle quite a lot. As for the 90%...well if you want to hit a jump or a six foot gap with it, just let me be there with a camera! Really, all jumps have a bailout or ride-around at that trail. I've seen just about every kind of bike from WalMart specials (don't recommend) to cross bikes there. It's all in how you ride/attack the trail. Just make sure you carry an extra tube or two with a pump/CO2 in your pack.

I'm still contemplating which direction to go if I can convince my spouse I need another bike. I can't have a bike for every day of the week like Tim L. :). I have a rocky mount friend trying to convince me to try cyclecross. It might be worth the new bike if I could hit the trails with it too. Kevin, when I hit 90 percent do I have to walk the rest of the way home? I have seen a couple guys riding them out at G'ville...they are fast! There are a few things I wouldn't do with them but I would say you could do 90-95% of the trail with it. You'll get a lot of out of saddle time with one. If you haven't ridden that trail before, please make sure to ride with someone who has. There are a few splits in the trail that could make you do circles for a while before you noticed. --Kevin -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> ] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Friday, February 11, 2011 7:58 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [COWs] weekend rides I have a question.
