It seems to be the day to ride. My son and I snuck in a late afternoon ride
to Elm City. This was his first ride in Wilson and it was on a bike with
cages. It was short and slow, but he did a great job. No intervals...just
a nice C level ride. It felt great to be out.

I just had to join in the fun. I cruised around solo this afternoon
for 20 miles. I did two sprint intervals of about 30 seconds each
caused by being chased by dogs. Averaged 17.2 mph as I was mainly
interested in working on my tan. Top speed of 32. One of those dogs
wuz fast. What a day!
