Kinnie, surprises come out of nowhere, huh? Thanks to all for the thoughts. I was lucky to come out not too hurt, much less alive---hwy97 and 55mph zones not a good place to ride. Dude said he did not see me but really do not know why. I was in the wrong spot ---->on the white line. If I had been where I preach, in the middle of the lane, he either would have seen me or I'd be dead. After the pain subsides, I guess the previous would be the better outcome. The file at the WMC ER stated I was assaulted .....by a white pick-up truck. That was the funny line of the day .....other than me acting like a goofball, nick said. Sure am gonna miss those free shots and the possibility of legend status, if I had peddled/hobbled back home, on bike! Mentally, I have to get over the what if's! 2"-5" is the diff between possible death and/or very serious injury. Whew! Thanks guys for riding back to check and wait on the formalities. Sorry I delayed the timely trip home and --pass that on to Mrs. Sullivan and kids too! Hope this never happens again to any of us during our exercise routines! Guess I will not be riding sun since my ride is in quarantine(Don's). Thankful not to have the temptation. You still have the best 'save' jon.
