I think that the main entree of that lunch WAS the beer! It was for Saint Patty's Day after all.

Thanks to Jim for coming by OSB to let us know that Nick was sick and Jim opted out. The day started very cold; upon arrival at the Trek Store the temperature was 35F. The ride started at 8 AM with a 52 mile route laid out near Falls Lake and areas west. The course was full of rolling hills. Many of the hills were long with low gradients and these CoWs struggled with them near the end. The accumulated climbing feet put both of us on the verge of cramping. We ended with 55.5 miles at a 17.2 mph average. Once the day started to warm up, it was a wonderful ride. Oh yeah, the lunch included beer. Looking forward to a nice recovery ride tomorrow – 2PM OSB. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CyclistsOfWilson-COWs" group.
