Linda, Wally and Lanterne Rouge rolled out of OSB at 6:00 am sharp. The group took Nash out to Pridgen, London Church on to Stagecoach and over to Elm City Rd/Parker St into Elm City. Parker Street is still covered with the tar/sand resurfacing at the split to 301. The group turned around and returned down Main Street, Lake Wilson and Nash, 21 miles at an 18 pace. Linda continues to pick up the pace, pushing us along at 19+ at numerous points along the route. Wally graciously pulled us along for a great portion of the ride and pealed off for some extra miles at the end of the ride.
Be advised of a large dog on Stagecoach just after the race track. Wally utilized his dog fighting skills and the owner helped to keep the big dog out of the road. It was a great way to start the day. Plans are to ride again in the morning, 6:00 am OSB, similar distance and pace or what the group decides, route is negotiable. Tomorrow should be the nicest day of the week weather wise. Lanterne Rouge -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CyclistsOfWilson-COWs" group.
