Dale, Wally and I finished the second loop for a total of 122 miles. The heat was affecting all riders after the midway point of loop 2. Several riders stopped or dropped back. Dale suffered some cramps but soldiered on to the finish. Two very nice loops gave us a double metric for the day.

Jim...It might need to be a C- recovery ride tomorrow...definitely not a traditional CoWs recovery ride.

And, yes, I got busted for speeding while doing my pull. My pull partner and I exceeded the stated limit of 18.0 mph by as much as 0.5 mph on the flats. When the Seyboro guys say and 18 mph pace, they mean 18.0 with no variation.

Dale, Wally, Bob L and I,
First loop started out with a mechanical 8 min in, about a 10 min delay, rest of ride to rest stop
uneventful.
After rest stop pace began to pick up and the hand slapping began, Bob on the front pushing the pace COWS style
Dale broike a spoke, Dave gave him his wheel for loop number 2.
Dale, Walyl, and Bob will be ready for a recovery ride tomorrow
2:00 OSB, I will lead the B/.recovery ride.
Jim
