Bob L and Steven Brake rolled out of OSB at 6 AM this morning slightly ahead of the hammerheads. Nash/Hornes Church/Strickland/Bike Route 2/97/Sugar Hill/Nash for 33 miles at a 19 mph pace. Perfect day for a ride; no wind and cool temperatures. Hammerheads passed us on Hornes Church at 22-23 and that was the last we saw of them. We did a steadily paced ride with slightly higher speeds on 97. Awesome ride on a beautiful day.
