If it's the ride I'm thinking of, they have changed it so you cannot ride up to Grandfather Mountain your first time. You have to complete the first stage (SC to Marion) the first time then you will be able to complete whole ride the second year. Too many people who bit off more than they could chew had to be SAG'd which tied them up and stretched them too thin.
