Congratulations Jennifer! Great job! On the way back from Boone Saturday, I noticed the clouds in the east and figured you guys might have gotten wet. Glad everything went well with your Bikefest ride. I would love to have been riding with you - maybe next year. I took my bike to Boone, rode a short 17 mile ride on Sunday morning all uphill going out and all downhill coming back except a steep half-mile climb back to the lodge. That half mile took more effort than the other 16 1/2 miles combined. I had planned to ride more, but on Sunday afternoon while hiking over some rocks on the Watauga river, I slipped and hurt my elbow. As a result I couldn't ride anymore during the week. I'm hoping to ride with you guys on Tuesday if my elbow will allow. If I'm not there at the scheduled time, don't wait up.
