Pete, Jennifer, James, BOB, bob, Steve B., Susan & I cruise out to Lucama 
this evening for 26 miles.  We had a brisk pace going out with a slight tail 
wind.  Took a break in Lucama while we listened to some dude tell stories about 
riding his bike as a youngster.  He finished up with "I can't ride anymore 
because I'm fat and 44 years old"  I'm looking around at our group and dang, 
he'd be the youngest of us all.  I guess his vision is also gone to hell :)  
(Not that Susan or Jennifer look a day over 30! :) Whew!
    Anyway, Pete kinda whines, jokes about our brisk pace/sprint to Lucama but 
as the wind dies out and the air is cool, Pete delivers his 20mph pace during 
his time on the front.  Yea, I think he's ready for another CNC!
    Great rides this week as the weather has been perfect.  Even the lunch 
rides have felt like fall.  John o. and I are doing another 100K in the morning 
as we look for saddle time in preparation of the North Carolina 1200K coming up 
in just 17 days.  I hope this weather holds till then!
