John o. and I head for Benson and there we start our ride that takes us
most of the day to finish. I informed everyone at work that I was gonna be
sick today. What kind of sick they ask. I dunno yet I replied! I'll think of
something. We were not bothered by idiots in green trucks. We were not
concerned with figuring out women folk, or trying to keep up with them. We
were concerned by the rash of dogs that wanted a piece of us today. Cooler
weather has them all fired up! Dang!
Great ride though we never figured out why we couldn't buy a tailwind.
Lunch in Tarheel, N.C. then back through Stedman for an Andy's "Brain Freeze".
Finished up with 126 miles. John and I kinda worked on our plans for tackling
that 1200K next weekend. Glad it's not this weekend!
