Hey Steven, The meeting we are talking about is for planning the ride. If you would like to be involved, please show up. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
For the Rodeo, this will be a safety/skills oriented event. There will be several individual events that will be taking place that provide the kids hands on experience in those situations. It's not geared to "teach" someone how to ride a bike but that has happened in the past. If they are competent on riding the bikes with or without the training wheels they will have a good time. If there are enough volunteers present, I'm sure one will be glad to take them to the field (softer) to try to ride without the trainers. Is this a meeting to do the planning for the whirling ride? Also, I am planning to help on Saturday. Will there be anyone there to help me get two of my girls riding without training wheels. We are about 8 weeks out from the Ride so it's time to start getting things ready. I've got a couple questions for everyone: 1. Meeting time: I know there is no one good time for all but looking at either this Thurs from 6:30 to 7:30 or next Tues at the same time. Location will be the Bojangles near the hospital. 2. The most important question...who's running the ride this year? Please let me know.
