It was hard to type through a zip lock bag. Sorry about that last email. I typed it and it made no since to me. Anyway phone changed things around I guess.
I used Map My Ride to get a route and I missed some of the turns going. When I rode home I tried to back track the route and still I couldn’t find some of those roads that Map My Ride had put on there. Some roads didn’t have road signs so maybe they were it. I don’t know. Well I started out wanting to get miles and I got some. The wind was calm when I left home. When I got to Town Creek it was like I hit a brick wall and there was the wind. I was determined to make DD one way or the other. I really never thought I could get there in time anyway. I liked the challenge though. I ended up on Firestone Parkway some how and I worked my way to DD. don’t know how. I made it to DD at 2:20. A few minutes with a energy bar and a drink of water and I hit the road. Tale wind most of the way home and I enjoyed the time on the bike. I missed riding with everyone but I also need these solo miles. Nothing impressive at all. 39.5 miles with a 16.8 avg.
