The A/B group held together well until Vaughans Chapel where Wally and Dale
pushed to 30 mph and spread the group out. This was after the group
survived Ronnie's run to 30 mph on Old Bailey; he later said he wanted to
hit 30 before his pull was over. All of this was a prelude to
Bridgersville...after regrouping after the overpass on BotR. The Kaiser set
the stage with a 24 mph pull to set up Nick's acceleration to ???. I
dropped the group off the front at 28 and didn't catch them again until DD.
From a distance, it looked like the rest of the group held together. All in
all a very frisky ride after the headwind was eliminated. My average was
19.8 so the rest of the group must have finished over 20.

A large herd of 12 left DD into a strong head wind, everyone feeling frisky,
20/22 pulls into the head wind. Broke into two groups, Doc, Lucas and I in
one group, don't know about the rest as they quickly separated themselves.
Came upon Lee at the end of Vaughn's chapel, cramped and waiting for 911
wife.
After a slow start we rallied with the tailwind and ended up with a 19 avg.
Hwy 58, old Springfield, old,bailey, sandy cross, Vaughn's
Chapel, tar river ch, Cliftonville and home.
32 miles fun tailwind
Great day to be on the bike.
