DC, Kaiser, and I left DD at 8:30 for 30 or so miles. DC pulls out first, sane pace to DQ then he gets in the drops, at Packhouse I hear the click of a gear shift and it is on. W Hornes and Liles, wind much stronger than the 6 mph forecasted. Stoney hill ch to pace, pick up,the wind again, left on 264, then old Smithfield. Tailwind the rest of the way. DC lets it out and at 31 he pulls away as if we weren't there. Kaiser rests up and pulls hard from bloomery back to DD. I try to,hang on and do my best domestique ride. Not NASCAR but certainly Sprint Cup ride for 32 miles, 19.9 avg, couldn't quite push over the 20 mark. Great day to be on the bike, Jim
