Are you still planning to ride at 5:30 Dc?

Is anyone else interested in a quick ride before the ride of silence?

Fun would have been an extra hour of sleep, a clean bike and dry shoes. (or
dry anything) glad Bolt enjoyed it.....Dan and I agree we both will look at
the radar next time and then reset our alarm. 20 miles door to door for me.

After telling Lee E I was "most likely out" early this morning, the radar
cleared just a bit and the thunder and lightening passed. I threw on my gear
and decided to give the ride a shot. I arrived at DD at 5:55 with no one
there. Figured everyone had more sense than me. Then, from around the
corner, a heavily geared ultra triathlete appeared. It was Turbo Dan. Uh
oh. Dan and I talked briefly thinking we were it when a bright yellow jersey
pulled up next to us. Even worse, it was DC. Neither rider checked the
weather before leaving the house. How they didn't hear the thunder I'll
never know. I guess ignorance is bliss. The three of us pulled out of DD
and road through Elm City via Pridgen. DC and Turbo were both pleasantly
surprised at how smooth Pridgen was. Needless to say, it basically rained
on us the entire ride getting heavier as we rode north. On our way back in,
the group split at London Church. DC and TurboD took a left and headed on
home. I, on the other hand, wanted a little hill work and was already
soaking wet so what was an extra ten minutes. I took a right and headed to
Lake Wilson. Th
